The TIMAS system is among the first digital systems in the U.S. designed primarily for health centers that serve people diagnosed with an intellectual disability. While TIMAS itself is not EHR certified, it is capable of certification by a provider. In 2012 a provider agency, with assistance from the TIMAS Team, was successful in undergoing the application process, and achieved national certification for their electronic health record using TEHRM 2012 1.1 (TIMAS Electronic Health Record Module).
Fully integrated, in addition to benefit & time-keeping analysis, TIMAS also alerts the employee of important information, such as needed trainings specific to the person served, fire-safety online trainings, HR compliance, staff training requirements (e.g., RELIAS Learning, College of Direct-Support), and much more.
From its inception, TIMAS has focused on Protection-from-Harm by providing the organization comprehensive data, investigation analyses, and electronic incident management information. The sample report is one of many examples of the kinds of confidential data and graph analyses available to the organization.
